“JCI Dhaka Astral forms new Board for 2022”

The General Assembly 2021 of JCI Dhaka Astral was held on Friday, 7 January, 2022 at Gulshan, Tropical Daisy Hotel. The General Assembly was presided by the 2021 Local President Farah Mithila, where the Executive Board presented a report of its activities for the whole year and the treasury report.

The Election was conducted by the Election Commissioner and Mentor Seyed Mosayeb Alam who is also the National Vice President of JCI Bangladesh.

The new Board of JCI Dhaka Astral for 2022, will led by Local President Syeda Shah Gufta Naz, were officially sworn into office at the oath taking ceremony.

The 11 members Board of 2022 includes Immediate Past Local President Farah Ahmad, Local Executive Vice President Faisal Mahmud Sajeeb, Local Vice Presidents Shibly Amran and Naser Mohsin, Local Secretary General Masrur Marhmood Shuvo, Local Treasurer Md. Shafayet Hassan, Local General Legal Counsel Monjur Morshed, Local Training Commissioner Romana Akhter Eity, and Local Directors Razin Halim and M Forhad Hossain.

The event was graced by Special Guests from the National board of JCI Bangladesh including National Executive Vice President Mahamud Un Nabi, National Vice President Seyed Mosayeb Alam, National Vice President Eazaz Mohammed, National Office Secretary Abdullah Safi Imon, National Director Taha Yeasin. Local President& EVP of JCI Dhaka Independent also joined in the event.

Prior to the event the 2ndGeneral Members Meeting of the chapter took place with presence of majority of general members to conclude the general affairs for 2021. An award ceremony took place after the General Assembly and Election to recognize the help and contribution of the members and partners in the activities throughout the year. JCI is a worldwide membership-based non-profit organization of young active citizens aged 18 to 40 who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities and JCI Dhaka Astral is one of the local chapters of JCI Bangladesh.
